Bonn, 23 May 2014 - A formidable coalition of NGOs and local groups is staging events at 250 locations worldwide starting in New Zealand and finishing in Hawaii on the inaugural World Fish Migration Day on Saturday, 24 May.

International Choirs Unite to Sing for Rare Bird Species
For the second year running, the Secretariats of CMS and AEWA jointly organized a benefit concert in Bonn, Germany as their contribution to the global celebration of World Migratory Bird Day. This year’s concert aimed to raise funds for the White-winged Flufftail, a Critically Endangered bird species, which is thought to have a population of less than 250 individuals remaining in the wild.
